- Ruler allows you to create an object based on the measurement.
- Choose view>rulers
- The rulers will be shown:

To Draw Stars
- You can draw stars from 3 to 360 points. To set a number of points greater than 25, enter a value directly in the text box. You can also vary the angle of acuteness.
- Double-click the Polygon tool to open the Polygon tool Options panel.
- Click on the Shape drop down box to choose Star:
- Hold down the mouse button and drag it to draw the star:
To release an Instance from a Symbol
- Select the instance Choose Modify > Symbol > Break Link.
- This will release an instance to symbol.
To work with Tweening Instances
- Tweening is a traditional animation term that describes the process in which a lead animator draws only the key frames, while assistants draw the frames in between.
- Below is the rectangle used to create the Tweening Instances.
- Select the object and convert it to Symbol:
- Duplicate the rectangle. Move one rectangle to left and select all of them:
- Choose modify>symbol>tween instance
- You can type a value to Steps. Click OK button to complete the setting:
- Play the animation and you will see the rectangle moving to the right.
